Oppo Find N5 could be the first foldable device to get Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC

Oppo is possibly working on Find N5 which is going to succeed Oppo Find N3. In a post by Digital Chat Station, one of the most reliable tipsters in the market, the specifications and launch timeline of the device have been revealed. According to his post, Oppo Find N5 will make its global debut in the first quarter of 2025.

The smartphone will have a book-inspired design. It has also been mentioned in the leaks that the new device will be thinner than its predecessor and it will also get an upgraded hinge. And the device will also be water-resistant. However, the certification has not been revealed yet.

The smartphone will most probably feature a 2K resolution primary display. The dimensions of both the inner and outer display along with other details are still under wraps. Leaks also suggest that it could be the first folding smartphone to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor.

In terms of camera, we can get to see a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary shooter, a periscope shooter with a large lens, and another sensor that is unknown at this point in time. High chances are that the third sensor will be an ultra-wide one. The smartphone could also include a three-state alert slider for juggling between vibrate, ring, and silent mode.

Apart from that, all other details regarding the smartphone have not been revealed or leaked yet. However, we can expect to know more about the same as soon as the launch date approaches. One thing that we can say at this point in time is that if the device actually launches with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processors, then it is going to raise the heat for other brands like Samsung, OnePlus, Vivo, etc.
