OnePlus Nord is ready to shake up the market with the launch of their new CE5. This phone is said to receive a massive upgrade in terms of battery and might feature the largest battery in the CE series to date. Many details have surfaced about the upcoming device, hinting at some of the key specifications, including the chipset, storage, and battery.

The upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 5 could offer a serious upgrade over its predecessor, especially in the battery department. According to a recent report, the phone is expected to pack a massive 7,100mAh battery. If this turns out to be true, we can easily expect it to be one of the best-performing devices in its segment in terms of battery life. To take this a notch higher, the charging speed is expected to be 80W, which could juice up the battery quickly.

On the performance side, the Nord CE 5 might be powered by either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset or MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350. Storage is also expected to get a boost with UFS 3.1 onboard. For comparison, the Nord CE 4 came with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

When it comes to photography, OnePlus seems to be sticking with the same setup as its predecessor, featuring a 50MP LYT600 or IMX882 main sensor and an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide lens for capturing scenic landscapes or group photos. While there’s no major change on the camera front, this trusted combo has already proven its capabilities in the Nord CE 4. With performance upgrades in the CE 5, we could also see improvements in photo processing, resulting in better image quality compared to the previous generation.
