Nothing’s sub-brand CMF is all set to launch its first smartphone subbed Nothing Phone 1 in India. It will be an affordable option that will compete with phones from OnePlus, Realme, Redmi, Motorola, and others. While we already know the phone’s release date, its specs were unknown. Now, however, ahead of its launch early next month, the company has revealed the processor inside the device. Additionally, the entire specs sheet of the device has been surfaced. Further, the price range of the phone has also been leaked. Let’s see everything we know about Nothing’s cheapest phone under its sub-brand, the CMF Phone 1.
Let’s start with specifications and the performance you can expect. CMF Phone 1 will certainly be a better-performing phone in the price range since it will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, which the company confirmed on X. Devices in the same range use Dimensity 7050, Snapdragon 695, and other chipsets.
Further, it will most likely come with a base 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It will also be available with 8GB RAM and the same storage option. CMF will also provide a microSD card slot for additional storage of up to 2TB. Expect a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It will run on Android 14 OS out of the box. We expect it to have Nothing OS on top.
The smartphone is tipped to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Interestingly, it may have an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device is expected to boast a 50MP dual camera system on the rear and a 16MP selfie snapper.
As per the tipster Yogesh Brar, The CMF Phone 1 is tipped to start at Rs 15,999 with discounts for the base variant with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant will be priced at Rs 17,999 with discounts. Without discounts, expected the prices to touch the Rs 20,000 mark at least.
For such pricing, the CMF Phone 1 will rival the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite, Realme P1 Pro, Poco X6 Pro, and Redmi Note 13.
Upon launch on July 8, the device will be available for purchase on Flipkart, which is also Nothing’s retail partner in the country.
