Motorola is expected to introduce another member to its Edge 60 family soon. The new smartphone is rumoured to be the Motorola Edge 60 Neo, which is tipped to be the company’s midrange device. It will succeed last year’s Edge 50 Neo. A tipster has leaked the specifications and launch timeline of the upcoming smartphone, claiming that it will first be unveiled in Europe. The Motorola Edge 60 Neo will join the Edge 60 family, which already includes the Edge 60, Edge 60 Pro, Edge 60 Fusion, and Edge 60 Stylus.
According to the tipster, the Edge 60 Neo will be equipped with a compact OLED display. On the rear, it is said to feature a triple camera system with a main, an ultra-wide, and a telephoto sensor.
To recall, the Motorola Edge 50 Neo was launched in India in August 2024. It features a 6.4-inch flat pOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution, 10Hz-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and 3000 nits of peak brightness. The display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3, while the phone holds an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Internally, the Motorola Edge 50 Neo runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
In terms of cameras, the Edge 50 Neo features a triple rear lens system headlined by a 50MP main sensor. It is accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide shooter and a 10MP telephoto camera. On the front, the display houses a 32MP selfie camera.
Under the hood, it packs a 4,310mAh battery that supports 68W fast wired and 15W wireless charging.
