Motorola has launched the all-new Motorola Edge 50 Ultra in India. The smartphone comes in the upper mid-range segment and has an impressive specs sheet. Some of the Edge 50 Ultra highlights include a natural Wood Finish on the back, triple-rear cameras backed by Moto Ai, and a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. The device also has fast wired and wireless charging support. Let’s see the phone’s price and full specs.

Motorola Edge 50 Ultra India price, offers, and availability

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is priced at Rs 54,999 for the lone 12GB RAM and 512GB variant. However, buyers can get a Rs 5,000 instant discount on ICICI Bank Credit Card, taking the price down to Rs 49,999.  It comes in three colours, namely, Forest Grey (Silicon Vegan Leather), Peach Fuzz (Silicon Vegan Leather), and Nordic Wood (Wood Finish). The phone’s first sale is set for June 24 on Flipkart.

The Edge 50 Ultra competes with the Poco F6 in terms of the chipset, although the latter is way more affordable. It will also rival the upcoming Realme GT 6, which is expected to launch at around Rs 40,000.

Motorola Edge 50 Ultra specifications and features

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra boasts a wooden back finish (on Nordic Wood), making the device look premium. It features a 6.7-inch curved pOLED display with a 1.5K resolution. It has a 144Hz high refresh rate support and 2800 nits of peak brightness. The panel has HDR10+ support and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

The smartphone sports a triple rear camera system on the back with a 50MP main lens having a 1/1.3″ sensor size and a 2.4-micron pixel size that captures more light. The main lens is assisted by a 50MP Ultrawide lens that has 122-degree FoV. The lens also doubles up as a macro vision unit. Lastly, there’s a 64MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom support. It has a hybrid zoom support of 100x. The main and the telephoto lens have Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The entire camera processing is tuned by Moto AI.

One of the highlights of the device is the chipset. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It packs a 4,500mAh battery, which might feel small when compared to other competition, however, Motorola is backing it up with a 125W wired and 50W wireless TurboPower charging.

The smartphone runs on Android 14 OS out of the box and has Motorola’s Hello UI on top. As for connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and GPS support. It has dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
