Motorola Edge 50 Pro goes on sale today: Check price, offers

Motorola Edge 50 Pro was launched earlier this month in India. Last week, it went on its first sale. However, the phone ran out of stock shortly. That said, if you missed buying the device in the last sale, get ready as the device will go on its second sale later today. The Edge 50 Pro is priced at Rs 31,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB variant and Rs 35,999 for the 12GB RAM 256GB variant. Buyers with HDFC Bank Credit Cards can get a Rs 2,000 instant discount on non-EMI transactions.  Buyers can also purchase the phone on Cost EMI for up to 9 months. On Debit Card and Credit Card EMI transactions, there’s a discount of up to Rs 2,250 .

The smartphone rivals the recently launched Galaxy M55 5G, OnePlus Nord CE 4, and others. It can be purchased in three colour options – Luxe Lavender, Moonlight Pearl, and Black Beauty.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro specifications

The smartphone features a silicone vegan leather design on the back with metal framing on the sides. It sports a 6.7-inch punch-hole display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5k resolution. It is a curved OLED panel with up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. It also has 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut and HDR10+ support. For eye protection, it has SGS certification.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset powers. It has two configurations – 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. There’s a major difference between these two variants. The latter has a 4,500mAh battery with 125W wired fast charging. The base configuration has the same battery capacity with 68W wired fast charging. Both come with 50W wireless fast charging support.

The device flaunts a triple-rear camera system with a 50MP AI main lens, a 13MP ultrawide camera that also works as a macro sensor, and a telephoto lens with 30x hybrid zoom. The latter also has OIS support for stabilized footage. On the front, it has a single camera for selfies. Previously, Motorola confirmed that the phone has several AI features for the camera.

The device has an in-display fingerprint scanner for added security. It runs on Android 14 OS out of the box with Hello UI on top.
