
Moto G85 5G India launch: Motorola launched the Moto G85 smartphone in India today. This new 5G smartphone is a part of the company’s G-series devices, which also includes the Moto G64 5G and the Moto G34 5G smartphones to name a few. The Moto G85 comes with top-of-the-line-features, which includes a 50MP camera setup at the back with the Sony LYT sensor, a 32MP selfie camera and an AMOLED display.

The Moto g85 5G comes in two variants. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage costs Rs 17,999 and the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant costs Rs 19,999. As a part of the launch offer, Motorola is offering a discount of Rs 1,000 on the purchases made using credit cards and credit card EMI transactions. After discount, the Moto G85 8GB + 128GB variant of the phone will be available at a price of Rs 16,999, while the 12GB + 256GB variant will be available at a price of Rs 18,999. It will go on sale starting 12PM on July 16 via Flipkart, Motorola.in and leading retail stores across India.

The Moto G85 5G features an endless edge design that is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and IP52 dust and water protection. It weighs just 172 grams.
Coming to the specifications, the Moto G85 sports a 6.7-inch curved edge full HD+ pOLED display with 10-bit colour, a screen refresh rate of up to 144Hz, a peak brightness of 1600 nits, and a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. Additionally, it offers high resolution sound that is powered by Dolby Atmos.
In terms of performance, the Moto G85 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 system-on-chip (SoC) that is coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage space. It also supports dynamic RAM feature and it runs Android 14 mobile operating system. Motorola has promised to provide one year of OS upgrade and three years of security upgrades.
Coming to the cameras, the Moto G85 5G sports a dual camera setup at the back. This camera setup includes a 50MP primary lens with Sony LYTIA 600 sensor, Optical Image Stabalisation feature and Quad PDAF feature, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, it has a 32MP selfie camera.
For connectivity it has dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.1 and 5G. It is backed by a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W TurboPower fast charging technology. Additionally, it supports face unlock and a fingerprint sensor.
The Moto G85 comes in Cobalt Blue, Urban Grey and Olive Green colour variants.
