Honor 200 is available in the Indian market at a price of Rs 34,998. The smartphone houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen processor paired with Adreno 720 GPU to provide ultimate gaming performance. The device also comes with a 5200mAh battery that support 100W fast charging. It gets 8GB RAM along with 256GB internal storage and an AI-powered MagicOS 8.0.
Honor’s next big smartphone could pack a battery size we usually see in power banks. According to a leak from popular tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS), the company is testing a 10,000mAh battery for its upcoming phone powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 chipset. The device has reportedly reached the NPI (New Product Introduction) verification phase, suggesting it’s getting closer to launch. According to the tipster, Honor’s Dimensity 8500 phone entered the NPI stage in late July, so it’s in steady progress. The official name of the device hasn’t been revealed yet, but it’s possible that the 10,000mAh battery makes it one of the smartphones with the longest battery life in the market. It is likely to appeal to heavy users, travellers, and mobile gamers. Also Read: Honor Magic V Flip 2 With 200MP Camera, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Launched: Price, Specs, Features
Honor isn’t the only brand using the new Dimensity 8500 chip. Redmi, Realme, and iQOO are also preparing devices with this processor. Reports suggest the Redmi Turbo 5 will be the first to launch with the D8500, possibly in December 2025. If that timeline holds, Honor’s model could debut shortly after in China – either late December or January 2026. Dimensity 8500 Chipset Details
The MediaTek Dimensity 8500 is said to be a 4nm chip manufactured by TSMC. While its CPU architecture is reportedly the same as last year’s Dimensity 8400, the new Mali-G720 GPU promises a noticeable upgrade for gaming performance. Early benchmarks hint at over 2 million points on AnTuTu, placing it among the most powerful mid-to-high-end chips.
Other brands expected to launch Dimensity 8500 devices include the Realme Neo 8 SE and iQOO Z11 Turbo. For now, Honor has not confirmed any details beyond the chipset, and the battery leak remains unofficial. However, if accurate, this could be one of the biggest battery smartphones we’ve seen in years.
