HMD Fusion 2 Features (Expected)

According to tipster HMD Meme on X, the Fusion 2 will introduce Smart Outfits Gen 2 and a new Pogo Pin 2.0 connector. For those unaware, Smart Outfits are accessories that attach to the phone by way of smart pins located on the back of the phone, allowing users to either add functionality or change the aesthetic of the device. news Also Read: HMD Vibe 5G With 50MP Camera, 1-Year Replacement Guarantee Launched In India: Price, Specs

The new generation is expected to include several interesting modules such as a Casual Outfit with Kickstand, Wireless Charging Outfit, Rugged Outfit, Gaming Outfit, Camera Grip, Flashy Outfit, Speaker Outfit, QR and Barcode Outfit, and even a Smart Projector Outfit. However, these new Smart Outfits reportedly won’t work with the first-gen Fusion, which means owners of the older model might not be able to reuse their existing modules. news Also Read: HMD Global Set to Enter Smartwatch Market with Wear OS-Powered Rubber 1 and 1S

HMD Fusion 2 Specifications (Leaked)

For specifications, leaks are suggesting that the Fusion 2 will come with a 6.58-inch OLED display at Full-HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It is also expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s newly launched Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chip, which should provide a significant performance advantage over the first-generation HMD Fusion.

In terms of cameras, the HMD Fusion 2 could feature a 108MP main sensor with OIS support alongside an 8MP ultra-wide lens. Other expected features include dual speakers, Bluetooth 5.3, IP65 rating, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

While HMD hasn’t confirmed anything officially yet, the Fusion 2 seems to be shaping up as a unique mix of innovation and practicality – aimed at users who like to customise their phones beyond just cases and covers.
