Google Pixel 6A discontinued: Heres how you can still get it in India

Pixel 6A update: Google launched Pixel 6A in India back in May 2022. Now, almost two years later, the company has officially removed the Google Pixel 6A from its official store in India and the US. The development comes shortly before the company is planning to host its annual developers’ summit, Google I/O, wherein the company is expected to launch its next-generation budget Pixel device, that is, Google Pixel 8A. How much does Pixel 6A cost in India?

The Pixel 6A is available at a price of Rs 43,999 on Flipkart. Flipkart is also giving a bunch of offers on the purchase of the Pixel 6A. Buyers who purchase the phone using their Flipkart Axis Bank card will get a cashback of five percent. Additionally, the company is offering five percent extra off on Google chargers. Apart from these offers, Flipkart is offering a 12-month Spotify Premium subscription at a price of Rs 699. Sans this offer, Spotify Premium subscription price for Individual tier costs Rs 1,309 in India.

Pixel 6A specifications and features

Talking about features, the Pixel 6A sports a 6.1-inch full HD+ OLED display with a screen refresh rate of 60Hz and Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. The phone is powered by Google Tensor chip with Titan M2 security. These chips are coupled with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage space. It was launched with Android 12 out-of-the-box.

On the camera front, the Pixel 6A sports a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 12.2MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. The rear camera comes with optical image stabalisation and electronic image stablisation features. On the front, this phone has an 8MP camera. On the connectivity front, the Pixel 6A has 5G, USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 1, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2 and Google Cast.
