Asus Zenofone 12 Ultra is confirmed to launch globally in February. The Zenofone 12 Ultra is the successor to the Zenfone 11 Ultra launched in 2024. The Taiwanese tech company has officially confirmed the launch date of the Zenofone 12 Ultra via its X account.

The upcoming Zenofone 12 Ultra will be unveiled on 6 February at 2:30 pm Taipei time (12pm IST). The company revealed the launch date and timing on its X account with a teaser poster. The teaser poster mentions “a new era of mobile photography excellence.” The teaser poster and the post suggest that the smartphone will have AI-packed features and will enhance the overall photography experience. The teaser image showcases a smartphone recording a 4K video which means the Zenofone 12 Ultra will be equipped with the said recording feature.

Asus Zenofone 12 Ultra Specifications (Expected):

As per reports, the Asus Zenofone 12 Ultra could feature the same specifications as the ROG Phone 9. The smartphone could be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and runs on the Android 15-based ROG UI. The smartphone could feature a 6.78-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display along with a 1,080×2,400 pixels resolution and 165Hz refresh rate.

As far as camera features are concerned, the Zenofone 12 Ultra could be equipped with triple rear camera sensors including a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700 primary sensor, 13MP ultra-wide, and 5MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calling, it might have a 32MP front camera. To power the phone, the smartphone manufacturer could give Zenofone 12 Ultra 5800mAh battery with 65W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.

Other features might include Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection an Always-On display feature, and an IP68 rating for dust and water.
