Apple Intelligence features could be announced in iPhone 16 series launch event

As we know, the Apple iPhone 16 series launch event is inching closer, and Mark Gurman is at it again. According to his latest revelations, Apple has scheduled a mandatory meeting for all Apple store employees right after September 10th. Expectations are that these meetings will be held somewhere between the evening of September 12th and the morning of September 13th based on the stores. According to Gurman, the meetings are not at all the way they usually used to be.

In another tweet, the Apply Analyst claimed that Apple is beginning to train its employees on Apple Intelligence. Rumors have it that Apple Intelligence is going to be a crucial part of the iPhone 16 series launch event. Now considering the official statements, Apple Intelligence will most likely not debut with the Apple iPhone 16.

The same announcement suggested that Apple Intelligence will make a debut with iOS 18.1 in October. Some of the most important features like Notification Summaries, Writing Tools, and an upgraded Siri Interface with be released alongside iOS 18.1. Apart from that, other features of Apple Intelligence like ChatGPT, Genmoji, and Image Playground will most probably be available for the masses after the release of iOS 18.2.

And the story doesn’t end here, a report by 9to5 Mac suggested that the use of AI will increase the sales of iPhone 16 by up to 10 million units which is insane. This comes as a major reason why Apple would really want to announce all the features coming with Apple Intelligence in the iPhone 16 series launch event.

Introduction of Apple Intelligence could be a reply to Google

If, and only if, Apple introduces its AI-based service in the launch events, we can say that Apple is leaving no stone unturned to take on the recently launched Google Pixel 9 series. Google announced a plethora of AI features with the launch of the Pixel 9 series and Apple most probably wants to give a tough competition to the brand by releasing its own AI service. Speculations are that Apple will release some of the features for free but a few of them will come under a premium subscription for Apple Intelligence.
