Lenovo Launched ThinkPad X9 Aura Laptop with Intel Lunar Lake Processors: Here’s What We Know

Lenovo has launched a new laptop dubbed ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition in an all-new “Moonlight White” finish in China. This is the first time Lenovo has launched its Aura Edition laptops in white. The ThinkPad variant from Lenovo is now stepping into fresh territory with this elegant white design. The company has kept the signature black keyboard and display bezel as it is.

Lenovo ThinkPad X9 Aura Laptop: Specifications

Under the hood, the Lenovo ThinkPad X9 Aura Laptop is powered by the Intel Lunar Lake processors along with the Core Ultra 9 288V and up to 32GB on-package RAM. However, the storage in the laptop can be increased up to 2TB SSD. The laptop is available in two display size, including 14-inch and 15-inch.

As far as display is concerned, the Lenovo ThinkPad X9 Aura Laptop features 2.8K OLED touchscreen along with 120Hz refresh rate. The batteries are different for both screen sizes. The 14 inch laptop comes with 55Wh battery and it weighs 1.27kg. However, the 15 inch laptop offers 80Wh battery and weighs 1.4kg.

Not just this, Lenovo has also integrated its Tianxuan AI assistant into the laptops along with the support for local models like DeepSeek-R1-Distill-Qwen-1.5B and DeepSeek-Coder-1.3B. The keyboard of Lenovo ThinkPad X9 Aura Laptop comes with a 1.35mm key and follows a full size ISO layout for comfortable typing.

The laptop is also paired with an 8MP IR webcam, featuring 1.0µm pixel size for enhanced clarity. Both models retain the signature red TrackPoint, now enhanced with a breathing light for a modern touch.
