Asus ExpertBook P5405 announced in India; Company's first Copilot+ offering

Asus has recently dropped the Asus ExpertBook P5405 in the Indian market. The laptop is being hailed as Asus’ first Copilot+ offering consisting of Intel Core Ultra 9 processors with the ability to accomplish AI-based tasks as well. The pricing of the device has not been revealed by Asus until now. It is being said that the laptop will be available for purchase in India starting from the fourth quarter of 2024.

Apart from that, the pre-orders of the upcoming Asus Zenbook S14 2024 have already started via the Asus Exclusive Stores, Flipkart, and Amazon. Customers who will pre-order the same before September 24 will also get benefits worth Rs 17,389 by just spending one rupee. In addition, all the customers who pre-order the same will also get premium earbuds for free with the device.

Asus ExpertBook P5405 specifications and features

The Asus ExpertBook P5405 houses the Intel Core Ultra 9 or Series 2 processor with AI features. The processor promises a speed of 47 NPU TOPS (trillion operations per second) and up to 115 total platform TOPS. It ships with Asus’ AI ExprtMeet tools that offer a plethora of AI features like assisted meeting summaries, AI noise cancellation, AI translation, AI transcript, AI camera, business watermarks, and AI subtitles.

The system includes multilayered security comprising Secure Boot and Trusted Platform Module (TPM). In addition, the Asus offering also has an optional SafeGuard Backup tool for safely creating a backup of all data with encrypted protection. Furthermore, the laptop also provides standard international warranty s with coverage for adapter. All other major specifications of the laptop are still under the wraps as of now. Speculations are that we will get to know more about the same as soon as the launch date approaches.
