The ceremony will be hosted by the popular sports commentator Mike Tirico, singer Kelly Clarkson, and former football quarterback Peyton Manning. There will be over 10,500 athletes and performers carried in nearly 100 boats. Sports enthusiasts are thrilled to see today’s opening ceremony and the games following it. Paris Olympics 2024 starts today at 10:30 AM PT or 11:00 PM as per the Indian Standard Time (IST). The Olympic games will run from July 26 to August 11. There are 35 venues across France, from Trocadero The Seine to State de France. The opening ceremony will happen at the former today, and Lady Gaga is the performer for the ceremony.
There are 10,500 athletes participating in the event from 206 nations. Out of them, a total of 112 Indian athletes will be competing in 69 medal events.
