PAN Card download: Heres how you can download e-PAN on mobile

If you earn an income in a taxable bracket, you should have a physical PAN Card. PAN Card is a Permanent Account Number that acts as an identity proof and is also required to receive income and file income tax returns. That said, carrying your PAN document is essential. However, if in case you forget your PAN Card at home, an e-Pan Card can come in handy. The PAN Card download process is easy and anyone can download it on their phone. In this guide, we will show you how you can do that.

There are three methods of downloading your PAN Card online. Let’s all methods.

PAN Card Download process – NSDL

Step 1: Open the official website of NSDL (National Security Depository Limited).

Step 2: Tap on Download e-PAN/ePAN XML, which should be located at the top.

Step 3: Enter your PAN number from the physical PAN card.

Step 4: Enter your Aadhaar Number.

Step 5: Now, you need to input your month and year of birth. Tap on the drop-down menu and select the month and year.

Step 6: Validate Captcha. It can be an audio or any other type of Captcha. Enter it as per instructed.

Step 7: Tap on Submit.

Step 8: You will now have to generate an OTP via Email ID or Mobile number. Tap on Generate OTP. Once you receive the OTP,  enter it in the box.

Step 9: After you follow all the steps, you should receive an e-PAN Card download button. Tap on Download PDF. Note that your e-PAN will be secured with a password which will be your birth date.

Pan Card Download process – UTIITSL

Step 1: Open the official website of UTIITSL (UTI Infrastructure Technology and Services Limited).

Step 2: Enter your PAN number from the physical PAN card.

Step 3: Enter your birth month and year.

Step 4: Enter Captcha as shown.

Step 5: Tap on Submit.

Step 6: Enter Captcha again and tap on Get OTP.

Step 7: Now, enter your OTP and submit to get an e-PAN. Download it.

PAN Card Download process via Income tax website

Step 1: Open the Income tax portal.

Step 2: Tap on Continue in the Check Status/Download PAN bracket.

Step 3: Enter your Aadhar number.

Step 4: Get OTP and enter it to validate.

Step 5: Once you validate the OTP, you should see an option to download your PAN Card. Tap on it to download.
