— Low: Basic video quality with up to 0.3GB of data consumption.
— Medium: Standard video quality with up to 0.7GB of data consumption.
— High: Best video quality, which offers: Standard Definition with up to 1GB of data consumption or High Definition with up to 3GB of data consumption or Ultra High Definition (4K) with up to 7GB of data consumption.
There is another setting — Auto — that adjusts the data consumption automatically to deliver the highest possible quality, based on a user’s current internet connection speed.
Step 1: Open Netflix on your device’s web browser and log into your account.
Step 2: Now open the profile for which you want to control the data usage settings.
Step 3: Using a browser, go to your Account page.
Step 4: In the Profile & Parental Controls section, select a profile.
Step 5: Now select Playback settings.

Step 1: Open Netflix app on your Android phone, iPhone or iPad.
Step 2: In the lower right, tap My Netflix option.
Step 3: In the upper right, tap the Menu option.
Step 4: Now tap the Settings option to access the app settings.
Step 5: Under Video Playback, select Cellular Data Usage option.
Step 6: To adjust your downloads data settings, switch Wi-Fi Only on or off under Downloads.
