Microsoft Outlook is a fairly popular emailing service that is used by millions of professional across the globe. The platform is a one-stop-destination for a host of services provided by Microsoft, Calendar and Teams to name a few. However, its interface can be a tad bit confusing sometimes. How to create a signature in Microsoft Outlook

Step 1: Open Outlook in a web browser and then sign into Outlook Web App using the URL provided by the person who manages email for your organization. Also Read - Netflix subscription plan with ads is now available for Apple TV users

Step 3: On the navigation bar, choose the Settings icon and click the Options button.

Step 4: Under Options, choose Settings and then click the Mail option.

Step 5: Now scroll down to the Email Signature. In the text box, type the signature you want to use. Use the formatting mini toolbar to change the appearance of the signature.

Step 6: If you want your signature to display at the bottom of all outgoing items, including replies and forwards, select Automatically include my signature on messages I send.

Step 7: Choose Save option and you are good to go.

How to create a signature in Outlook’s desktop app

Step 1: Open Microsoft Outlook on your Windows PC.

Step 2: Click on the File option in the top left corner of the app.

Step 3: Scroll down and click on the Option button in the left section of the application.

Step 4: In the Outlook Option dialog box that appears, select Mail option on the left side.

Step 5: Scroll down to the ‘Create or modify signatures for Messages option’ and then click on the Signatures button.

Step 6: In the top left side, click on the New button, add a name for the signature and click OK.

Step 7: In the Edit Signature section below, tap the text that you want to include in your message. You can also add an image and a link in the same.

Step 8: In the Choose Default Signature section on the right side, select the name of the signature you just created in the New Messages and Replies/Forwards section.

Step 9: Click Ok to finish the process.

How to create a signature in Outlook’s Android, iOS apps

Step 1: Open Microsoft Outlook on your smartphone.

Step 2: Tap the Inbox option in the top left corner of the app.

Step 3: Now tap the Gear icon or the Settings button at the bottom left corner of the app.

Step 4: Scroll down to the Email section and tap the Signature button.

Step 5: Tap the Signature option again and then type the text that you want to include. You can also add a link or an image or change the formatting of the text using the options given below.

Step 6: Finally tap the Check mark option on the top right corner of the app and you are done.
