Share Lok Sabha elections results 2024: Lok Sabha elections took place in India in seven phases between April 19 to June 1. Now that the last phase of elections is over, counting is underway to elect the 543 members of the Lok Sabha. The Lok Sabha elections results 2024 counting began at 8AM today and it will take place till the last vote is counted.
As the Lok Sabha elections 2024 counting is progressing, the Election Commission or EC is sharing frequent updates on its social media channels. The Election Commission reported that the voter turnout in Jammu & Kashmir has been highest in the last four decades. The overall turnout has been around 58.58 percent while the turnout in the valley has been around 51.05 percent.

The EC noted that the total voter turnout during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections has been around 642 million, which is 1.5 times the voters of G7 countries and 2.5 times voters in 27 countries in the European Union. Additionally, 312 million women voters voted in the General Election this year, which is 1.25 times the voters in 27 countries in the EU.

Lok Sabha election counting began at 8AM on June 4 and it will go on until the last vote is counted. The results will be declared when the counting is over in all the 543 constituencies across the country.
Citizens who want to check election results had head over to the Election Commission’s official website or https://elections24.eci.gov.in/ and click the ‘General Election Results 2024’ button on top to check the results.
Alternatively, voters can download the Voter Helpline app from the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store to check live results. Also, EC will be sharing the results on social media.
