How to hide your Instagram activity status on Android and iOS

 How to hide online status on Instagram

As always, make sure that the Instagram app is updated to the latest version on your smartphone. Once you do, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Open Instagram on your Android and iOS smartphone.

Step 2: Tap on your profile at the bottom right corner.

Step 3: Tap on the Hamburger icon in the upper right corner.

Step 4: Open Settings.

Step 5: Tap on the Privacy option.

Step 6: Scroll a bit to the bottom and look for the Activity Status tab and tap on it.

Step 7: Now, there are two options – Show Activity Status and Show When you’re Active Together. The latter is for chats, which means if you have already started a conversation (in chat) with people you follow, they will be able to see if you are online in the same chat. The former will entirely disable or enable your activity status. Disable the first option. when you disable the first options, the second options will be disabled automatically.
