Google Play Store allows you to remotely install apps on your Android phones with one click. This means you can install your favourite Android apps and games on your Android smartphone from a PC. However, Play Store doesn’t allow you to do the reverse of it, i.e. to uninstall apps from your Android devices remotely. That’s changing, as a new update allows users to both install and uninstall apps on their Android phones from their PC or other devices. In this article, we will show you exactly how you can do that.

How to remotely uninstall apps on Android through the Play Store

The ability to remotely uninstall apps is rolling out to devices globally. That said, you may or may not have received the feature. To check if you have received the feature, you will have to follow the steps below and try it. Let’s see how you can remotely uninstall apps on Android from another Android phone.

Remotely uninstall apps from Android phone

Step 1: Open the Google Play Store on your Android smartphone.

Step 2: Tap on your profile in the upper right corner. It should be the letter of your name or the profile photo that you uploaded or got synced with Gmail.

Step 3: Tap on the Manage tab.

Step 4: Now, on the top in the Manage tab, you should see the “This device” option. Tap on it and select the device on which you want to uninstall apps.

Step 5: Once you select the device, all the installed apps should be visible. Tap on the checkbox next to the app that you want to uninstall and tap on Uninstall.

That’s how you can remotely uninstall apps on Android from another Android phone. Now let’s see how you can do the same using your PC.
