YouTube has recently dropped a new feature named Communities that allows users to post in a YouTube Community and get responses from other users for their posts. In addition to the new feature, YouTube is also introducing a new button named ‘Hype’ that will provide a boost to the emerging creators on the platform. The button will allow more viewers to discover the channel of creators by showing a platform-wide leaderboard that shows the most-hyped videos live on the platform.

As for the working on YouTube Communities, the feature will be slowly rolled out for different channels on the platform and the feature will be rolled out globally next year. The feature allows the users to interact with the channel owners by posting stuff in a community and others on the platform can also respond to the posts. The main reason behind the launch of the Communities feature by YouTube could be to provide the creators a direct medium to interact with their subscribers so that none of them are supposed to hop to other platforms like Instagram or Telegram to stay connected. The feature will not be enabled for all the users and you will be supposed to enable it based on your preferences. YouTube Hype button: What it is and how it works?
YouTube Hype button has been introduced to motivate the new creators on the platform. The feature will push the content of the creators to new viewers. For example, if any channel has less than five lakh subscribers then the viewers can go for ‘hype’ it to increase its reach. Whenever a user will hype a video, it will start to rise in the leaderboard as the most hyped video of the week. Users will be able to see the latest charts in order to see which channels have received the most hype.
