Sony State of Play Event: Ghost of Yotei along with other games announced

The sequel of Ghost of Tsushima, Ghost of Yotei, was announced in the Sony State of Play event that was broadcasted today. The game will be released in 2025.

Sony’s State of Play event took place today and there are a lot of new announcements for the delight of the gamers. The event has been used by Sony to announce expansions for existing titles along with some new games. From the sequel to Ghost of Tsushima to Palworlds debut on PS5, there are a lot of things to catch up on for all those who missed out on the event.

Let’s start with Palworld, even after facing a lawsuit, the franchise is not going to stop anytime soon. And they are all set to bring the Pokémon with guns on PS5 with new content. The game will be available for the PlayStation console starting today.

The biggest announcement in the Sony State of Play event was about Ghost of Yotei, the sequel to Ghost of Tsushima. Sucker Punch has announced the Ghost of Yotei which will be set 400 years after the events that took place in Ghost of Tsushima. The game will be set during the dawn of Tokugawa Shogunate. In addition, a new heroine named Atsu is going to become the ghost and seek out vengeance on those who did wrong with her. As of now, it is being said that the game will make a debut in 2025.

Also, Monster Hunter Wilds is also making a debut on PlayStation. The game is all set to release on February 28 for all the platforms. As for the game, the players have to don the role of a custom hunter character who goes on a journey to ‘Forbidden Lands’ infested with monsters. The goal of the hunter is to find a missing expedition party. Other games and remasters that were announced at the event are Dynasty Warrior Origins, Metro Awakening VR, Astro Bot DLC, Tower of Aghasba, and more.
