PS Plus catalog for September 2024 brings a day one release along with Far Cry 5

Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for September 2024. It also includes a day one release, The Plucky Squire, that will be available to play on both PS Plus Extra and Deluxe tier members with zero bucks to pay additionally. Sony also introduced PS VR2 titles and Classics Catalog titles for PS Plus Premium subscribers. The catalog comes a few days after the free games announced for the PS Plus premium subscribers including MLB the Show 24, Little Nightmares 2, and Harry Potter Quidditch Champions.

The highlight of September game catalog by Sony is The Plucky Squire. The game is based on a storybook hero who discovers a 3D world outside the pages. The game toggles between 2D and 3D modes while introducing complex challenges packed with a fresh perspective. The main character, Jot, is supposed to restore the true happy ending of the storybook by defeating the main villain named Humgrump. In the game, you will have to solve puzzles and complete challenges to win the game.

Next in the line is Under The Waves which is an adventure title based on deep-sea diving. The game is focused on the management of trauma and grief for the main lead Stanley who is a professional diver. He takes a job at the Atlantic Ocean only to witness one of the most heart-wrenching events of his life. Along with his robot friend, Stanley is supposed to explore the ocean and get familiar with his grief. And while doing so, he is going to discover a lot of secrets revolving around his job’s nature. This game will be playable on both PS5 and PS4.

Third in the line is Chernobylite. As the name suggests, the game is based on the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone where the players are supposed to don the character of a physicist looking for his missing wife in the radioactive zone. The game takes you on an exploration journey of the exclusion zone while you encounter supernatural threats as well. The players will be able to create weapons and equipment in the journey as well. It will be available for both PS4 and PS5.

Far Cry 5 can be dubbed one of the most hyped-up entries on the PS Plus September catalog. It is an open-world game based on Hope County. And you can get your hands on some of the most amazing weapons – from shovels to rocket launchers.

Apart from the mentioned four, players will also get games like Night in the Woods, Space Engineers, Road 96, Ben 10, and Wild Card Football in the September catalog of PlayStation Plus. For those who don’t have it, the PS Plus Extra subscription can be purchased for Rs 749 and the Deluxe one can be bought for Rs 849 per month. All the mentioned games will be playable starting from September 17.
