Genshin Impact's upcoming character Sigewinne revealed: Everything you need to know

The makers of the Genshin Impact game, miHoYo, have finally revealed the presence of a new character in the upcoming update. Update 4.7 is expected to bring Sigewinne, a new playable character from the Hydro unit. Not much is known about this character, but the company has shared some tidbits on its social handle. The post confirmed the following details: Name and Title – Sigewinne, Wondrous Dragonheir, Identity – Melusine Head Nurse, Vision – Hydro, and Constellation – Nereides. A previous post also revealed more details about the character.

“There was once an inmate whose life Sigewinne saved after he had been gravely injured while causing trouble, who then proclaimed her to be an emissary of the heavens – an “angle of salvation” sent to bring redemption to criminals, even saying that he would preach this far and wide on her behalf,” noted a different post on X (formerly Twitter).

Unfortunately, there are no details about the character’s playstyle or weapons. However, however, it is said to be a 5-star hydro agent. She is expected to be a healer with Bond of Life mechanics. The kit of the character was leaked recently, keeping us excited about what to expect.

Sigewinne’s elemental skill will summon bubbles that will bounce three times and get smaller each time they touch the ground. These bubbles leave small water drops that prevent users from recovering their HP.

Furthermore, the character will be able to shoot water with a Q burst. As for the Constellations, she will be able to prevent bubbles generated by her from shrinking by using C1. C2 reduces the Hydro RES and C6 increases the burst critical rate and critical damage.

As of now, that’s all we know about the upcoming Sigewinne. However, we should learn more about her as we move closer to the release. Expect the new characters to be available for playing in the coming months through Update 4.7.
