Since Jio is the only telecom operator to offer standalone (SA) 5G network, the download and upload speeds are dramatically higher than those of Airtel. According to screenshots posted on Twitter, Jio is offering a maximum speed of 1.7Gbps in Kolkata and around 1.5Gbps in Jaipur. Meanwhile, Airtel, which uses 5G non-standalone (NSA) is offering speeds as high as 890Mbps in certain areas.
