Google Pixel 8a vs Pixel 7a: Specifications compared

Display: While the display size has remained the same on the Pixel 8a, customers will find the Pixel 8a screen smoother. That is because its 6.1-inch has a 120Hz refresh rate as compared to Pixel 7a’s 90Hz screen, measuring 6.1 inches. Other specifications are, however, the same. Processor: The new Pixel 8a brings performance upgrades over the Pixel 7a, thanks to the new Tensor G3 processor. The Pixel 7a, on the other hand, rocks the Tensor G2 processor, instead. The Pixel 8a has the same 8GB RAM as the Pixel 7a, but a new 256GB storage model.

Cameras: The Pixel 8a does not bring a higher-resolution camera than last year’s model, but it has new Google AI features that make it better. The Pixel 8a has a 64MP wide main camera and a 13MP ultrawide camera — the same as Pixel 7a. Battery: The Pixel 8a has a slightly bigger battery with a 4492mAh capacity and fast charging support. The Pixel 7a came with a 4385mAh battery.
