Samsung Galaxy S22 gets a price cut in India after Galaxy S23 launch

Samsung S23 series debuted in India at a starting price of Rs 74,999. The series includes Samsung Galaxy s23, Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra. Samsung Galaxy S22 specifications

The smartphone features a 6.1-inch AMOLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC and runs on Android 13 OS. For photography, the smartphone features a 50MP triple rear camera setup. It houses a 3,900 mAh battery that supports 25W wired and 15W wireless charging. It also comes with IP68 water-resistant rating.

It houses a 50-megapixel primary wide-angle sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture lens and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with an f/2.4 aperture lens. On the front, it comes a 12-megapixel selfie sensor with an f/2.2 aperture lens.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi direct, and a USB Type-C port. Further, the phone comes in IP68-rated dust- and water-resistant build. It also features Samsung Knox security and support for the company’s Knox Vault.

Samsung has equipped the Galaxy S23 with a 3,900mAh battery that supports 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging that is said to be capable of charging the battery up to 50 percent in as little as 30 minutes, the company claims.
