Flipkart has officially revealed some of its biggest iPhone deals ahead of the Big Billion Days Sale 2025, which kicks off on September 23. While attention is naturally on Apple’s newly launched iPhone 17 series, it’s last year’s iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models that might end up being the true stars of the sale, thanks to massive discounts.
According to Flipkart’s teaser, the iPhone 16 Pro will be available at just Rs 69,999, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max will drop under Rs 90,000 during the sale. These prices already include bank offers, such as a flat Rs 5,000 discount on select credit card transactions. Given how expensive Apple’s flagships usually are, this has to be one of the steepest price drops we’ve seen so soon after launch.
At launch, the iPhone 16 Pro carried a starting price of Rs 1,19,900 for the base 128GB storage model, with higher configurations – 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB – priced at Rs 1,29,900, Rs 1,49,900, and Rs 1,69,900, respectively. The phone was launched in four titanium finishes: Desert Titanium, Natural Titanium, White Titanium, and Black Titanium.
For context, the iPhone 16 Pro Max originally started at Rs 1,44,900 for the 256GB variant, while the 512GB and 1TB models were priced at Rs 1,64,900 and Rs 1,84,900. The phone, like the Pro model, comes in Apple’s premium titanium finishes, which not only look sleek but also make it lighter compared to the stainless steel iPhones of the past.
As of now, Flipkart has the iPhone 16 Pro 128GB listed at Rs 1,12,900, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max starts at Rs 1,37,900. The upcoming Big Billion Days pricing means buyers can save up to Rs 40,000-Rs 50,000 depending on the model they choose.
The timing of the sale couldn’t be better. While the iPhone 17 Pro is creating buzz with its camera and performance upgrades, these discounts on the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max make them far more attractive for anyone who wants a near-flagship experience without breaking the bank.
With the festival season around the corner, the Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale could be the best opportunity yet to grab Apple’s titanium-clad iPhones at their lowest prices.
