Santa Mode is the newest addition to ChatGPT to mark the festive season

OpenAI has dropped a new holiday-themed voice feature for ChatGPT named MerryAI. It will let the users interact with an AI-powered Santa Claus all December. The latest Santa Mode introduced by the brand brings a fun addition to ChatGPT’s voice mode without any doubt.

The mode will be available for the users starting from today and it can be activated by tapping on the snowflake icon available next to the prompt bar. As mentioned by OpenAI, the Santa voice is merry and bright paired with a classic jolly tone that fits the description of Santa Claus. The feature is being integrated with ChatGPT to make the AI interactions of the users a little playful.

MerryAI or Santa Mode Details

The Santa Mode or MerryAI could be dubbed a part of the 12 Days of AI event by OpenAI. Apart from that, the company has also introduced other modes like real-time video understanding capabilities. Users will now be able to have video conversations with ChatGPT using any mode even the Santa one. However, there are a few limitations here as the conversations that are being held with Santa will not be saved in the chat history of the users.

The best part here is that OpenAI will be offering the Santa experience for all the users. And the company is also resetting the Advanced Voice Mode usage limits to make sure everyone can enjoy the festive interaction without any issues.

The MerryAI will be available on ChatGPT until early January. As for accessibility, the users can get their hands on Santa Mode through the ChatGPT Android app, iOS app, official website, Windows app, and MacOS app as well. In parallel news, OpenAI is on features launching spree and they have also dropped the SoraAI text-to-video model for the masses as well.
