What is Jules?

Jules runs on Gemini 2.5 Pro, Google’s latest AI model known for logical thinking and advanced task planning. Unlike regular AI chat tools, Jules can actually perform tasks like writing, testing, and improving code on your behalf. It can even handle multiple tasks at the same time, which is helpful when you’re working on big or step-by-step projects. news Also Read: How To Create Your 3D Figurine With Google Nano Banana AI Image Tool: Step-By-Step Guide With Prompt

You can also reuse past setups, view test results, and connect it with GitHub Issues, making the development process faster and smoother.

What’s New After Testing?

During its beta testing phase, users tried out tens of thousands of tasks, which resulted in over 140,000 code improvements. Based on the feedback, Google made significant enhancements to Jules, including an upgraded user interface, bug fixes, and support for visual outputs. This means Jules can now show you the output of your code in action, allowing you to get more insight into what is working and what may not be working as expected.

Available for All Skill Levels

You do not need to be a full-time engineer to test out Jules. Google released an introductory tier that is great for hobby projects or beginners who are just getting started. For professional use, there are Pro and Ultra tiers with up to 20x the usage, which is desirable for most companies or users performing complex tasks or running multiple agents at the same time.

Part of a Bigger AI Push

The release of Jules is part of a broader program by Google to introduce Gemini based AI tools across its services. With products such as Jules, AI can now do more than just chat – it can plan, take action, and make adjustments. Down the lane, tools like Jules may be able to help not only develop code, but assist in business, creative, and productivity tasks.

You can now check out Jules through Google Labs using your Google account. Paid plans are available under the Google AI Pro and Ultra tiers.
