The Generative AI era is here as we all know that most of the tech giants are integrating the same in their products. And now, Amazon has joined the bandwagon by giving Alexa a Gen-AI makeover. Alexa AI Plus is a paid feature by the company. However, the company is offering the feature for free to all the Amazon Prime members.

Amazon has been in the race for a long time and the brand is leaving no stone unturned to build an AI-model that is smarter and highly conversational. The Plus version of Alexa will help the users in send event invite to their friends, make grocery shopping list, and do a lot more than that as well. The platform will use AI to remember your preferences related to food and movies which will make the experience super personalized.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg, as Amazon is also working on providing other features of Alexa AI Plus like analysing images, create travler itineraries and whatnot.

Coming to the pricing, the Amazona Alexa AI Plus will be available in the global market for $ 19.99 per month which roughly converts to Rs 1,720 according to the Indian currency. However, all the Prime members will get the subscription for $14.99 per month which converts to around Rs 1,290.

Additionally, the users will also get the new AI avatar of Alexa for free packed alongside Prime services. And yes, the users will also get to see a new Alexa app for the AI assistant. The app will be compatible with all the Echo devices in the future. Keeping in mind that Amazon has decided to put a price tag on Amazon Alexa AI Plus from day one, we can expect the model to be flawless so that it can prove it is worth the money.
