Get Ready for a Blast from the Past: Instagram's 2024 Year Recap is Here

Instagram has added a new feature on its platform personalized year in Review Stories. The feature will allow you to create year-end recaps for Instagram. The Meta-owned platform has introduced an EOY-themed Collage feature which can be posted on Instagram Stories. This will allow users to showcase their top posts from the year 2024. The feature will allow you to combine your favorite pictures from 2024 and you can share them with your friends, family, and loved ones. The feature will be available through the first week of January. Right now users can only create collage-like stories on the platform, but now the app is giving freedom to organize multiple photos on a single story. Here’s How You Can Use Instagram Year in Review Feature:

STEP1: To use Instagram year in review feature, first you have to open the app on your smartphone.

STEP2: Tap on the plus button at the bottom of your phone’s screen.

STEP3: Now select Reel.

STEP4: Choose the template option and you will come across various year-end templates. Select the choice of your template.

STEP5: After selecting a template, you will be guided on how to add the photos, posts, or any specific moments from your past year.

STEP6: The feature gives you the option to add music, text, and filters to the template.

STEP7: The last step is sharing the reel and the post with your followers, friends, and family.
