Xiaomi has officially stepped into the AI wearables space with the debut of its first-ever AI Smart Glasses. These glasses just weigh 40 grams, and blend effortlessly into everyday life. They come equipped with a built-in camera that supports first-person video recording, making them perfect for capturing moments hands-free.

In addition, the glasses feature AI voice assistance and smart home integration, offering a seamless and futuristic experience. This could very well be Xiaomi’s answer to sci-fi-style smart eyewear and might just give tech giants like Samsung and Apple a serious competition.

Xiaomi AI Glasses Features

These Xiaomi AI Glasses come with a 12MP front-facing camera that supports 2K video recording at 30fps. This is perfect for capturing high-quality videos. It also has Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), which could really make the footage smoother with fewer jitters, great for adventure scenarios. It also features a five-microphone array for clear voice commands, calls, and audio capture. There’s a dedicated camera button, and the camera can also be triggered using voice. Xiaomi has kept the privacy factor in mind and has included a visible orange privacy light that blinks during recordings for transparency.

Besides being packed with tech, the glasses also have the fashion and style aspect covered. They are very minimal and look almost like normal glass frames. Xiaomi has added features like the ability to change the tint in the lenses with a two-finger swipe, thanks to Electrochromic lenses. There are also various coloured lens variants for a touch of personality, along with four brightness levels for outdoor use. For additional durability, the glasses are built using a lightweight nylon frame and aviation-grade titanium hinges.

Coming to the AI assistant, these glasses feature Xiao Ai, Xiaomi’s voice assistant. The AI can be triggered by voice and used to scan QR codes and make payments. It can also be used for real-time translation and supports 10 languages. The AI assistant can even identify objects, signs, and text on the go.
