Valentines Day offer: Vodafone to offer 5GB data to select users

On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, Vodafone Idea has come up with a new offer for its users. The telecom operator has announced to offer of free 5GB data benefits to its select subscribers. This offer is valid only for Vodafone Prepaid users. In addition to this, the telecom is also hosting a Bi Tunes love contest where the winner will be eligible to get a cash prize of Rs 5,000. Vodafone Idea announces Valentine’s Day offer

Vodafone Idea will offer 5GB additional data for subscribers who opted for Rs 299 or more prepaid recharge plan. This plan offers 28 days of validity along with a few benefits that include 1.5GB data daily day, 100 SMS per day and unlimited talktime. As per the statement by the telecom, “On this special occasion, Vi users recharging with Rs. 299 and above on select recharges will be entitled to get 5GB additional data with a validity of 28 days at no extra cost. On select recharges starting at Rs 199 and up to Rs 299, Vi users will be eligible for 2GB of extra data with a validity of 28 days. In addition to this, Vi is hosting Vi music contest wherein users will be asked to guess the song from jumbled lyrics of a song from Valentine’s playlist​ in Hungama Music on Vi App. One lucky winner of each question with get a gift voucher worth Rs 5,000. This contest has begun from today itself.

For the unversed, Vodafone Idea (Vi) has partnered with Motorola India. As a part of this partnership, the two companies are working together on the deployment of Vodafone Idea’s 5G network in India. The telecom giant said that it has successfully tested its 5G network over Motorola’s portfolio of 5G smartphones. The company also said that this testing happened in New Delhi over 3350 to 3400 MHz spectrum bands on Vi 5G network.
