The latest Vivo X Fold 5 features a large 8.03-inch AMOLED main display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 4500 nits peak brightness. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 gets an 8.0-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2600 nits of peak brightness.
Talking about the cover display, the Vivo X Fold 5 features a 6.53-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 gets a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The latest Vivo X Fold 5 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, while the Galaxy Z Fold 7 packs the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.
The Vivo X Fold 5 packs a large 6000mAh battery; on the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 settles for a 4400mAh battery. In charging too, the Vivo X Fold 5 takes the lead with the support of 80W charging, while the Z Fold 7 only supports 25W wired charging.
The Vivo X Fold 5 features a 50MP main, 50MP periscope telephoto, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. The Galaxy Z Fold 7, on the other hand, gets a 200MP main camera, a 10MP telephoto, and a 12MP ultrawide camera setup at the back.
The Vivo X Fold 5 gets a 20MP main and a 20MP selfie camera on the cover display with 1080p video recording, while the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 has a 10MP ultrawide camera for selfies and a 10MP selfie camera on the cover display. Both of these support 4K video recording at 30/60fps.
The Vivo X Fold 5 has an IP58/IP59+ rating against dust and water resistance, and it is available in three colour options -- Titanium Grey, Green, and White. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 has an IP48 rating and comes in four colour options -- Blue Shadow, Silver Shadow, Jet Black, and Mint.
The Vivo X Fold 5 is priced at Rs 1,49,999 for a 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant; on the other hand, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is priced at Rs 1,74,999. The 12 GB RAM is coupled with the 512 GB storage variant.
