Every year, Apple officially drop the price of the previous gen models while welcoming the new members. While launching the iPhone 17 at a starting price of Rs 82,900 in India, the price of the iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 Plus has been reduced on its official store.
Along with that, the iPhone 16 Pro and the Pro Max have finally been axed by Apple. From the official Apple Store though. But you can still find them as the part of several deals and offers on e-commerce websites.
Apple has officially cut the price by Rs 10,000. That means, the iPhone 16 now costs Rs 69,900 instead of Rs 79,900, and the iPhone 16 Plus is priced at Rs 79,900 against the launch price of Rs 89,900.
After the discount of Rs 4000 on card offers including the Axis Bank, ICICI bank, and American Express, the iPhone 16 will cost you Rs 65,900.
Similarly, the iPhone 16 Plus will cost you around Rs 75,900 for the base variant after the card offers of Rs 4000.
Apart from these, the trade-in offers can further help you reduce the price of your next iPhone. However, it will depend on the resale value of the old phone, which is subjective to the condition and brand.
The iPhone 16 is still a great option for those who aren't looking for the latest upgrades, instead a premium iPhone at a reasonable price.
