Google has introduced a step-by-step Privacy Guide that guides users through privacy options when they enable history sync or select Enhanced Safe Browsing functionality.
Google has rolled out a smarter Safety Check feature that will alert users if it detects compromised passwords or harmful extensions. It will remind users when there are updates to install. Furthermore, the company that it is expanding Safety Check by rolling out more personalised recommendations and reminders about what users have previously shared with websites and find those controls in one place to revoke permissions and protect your privacy.
Google says that now users can delete their Chrome browsing data from a specific time or altogether. Google says that users will also be able to to delete individual items, from pages that they visited to autofill entries.
Now, users can set Incognito Mode in Chrome to require biometric authentication when they resume a session that was interrupted. Google says that this feature is available to all Chrome users on iOS and currently rolling out to Android users. All users need to do is go to Chrome Settings > Privacy & Security > Turn ON “Lock incognito tabs when you close Chrome.”
Google has introduced Password Manager on Android, iOS and desktop. This feature lets users create, remember and autofill passwords on their computer or phone.
