Samsung Unpacked July

Samsung just wrapped up its Galaxy Unpacked July event. The special launch event held in Paris showcased several devices. Samsung announced at least five products, including its Galaxy Ring, which was one of the much-anticipated gadgets. Here's everything announced at the Unpacked.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is the latest Galaxy foldable phone priced starting at Rs 1,64,999. The device has a 7.6-inch 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X primary screen and a 6.3-inch 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X cover screen. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It packs a 4,400mAh battery with 25W wired and 15W wireless fast charging support. It runs on Android 14, One UI 6.1.1.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 was another product showcased at the Unpacked. It starts at Rs 1,09,999. It features a 6.7-inch 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2x main display and a 3.4-inch Dynamix AMOLED 2X cover screen. A Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 powers it and it's paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It packs a 4,000mAh battery with 25W wired and 15W wireless fast charging support. The device boots on Android 14, One UI 6.1.1.

Samsung Galaxy Ring

Samsung finally showcased its much-awaited Galaxy Ring at the Unpacked July event. The smart ring isn't available in India, however, globally, it costs $299 (roughly Rs 25k). It comes in 9 sizes and has three colours, namely, Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Gold. It has several health modes like Sleep Tracking, HRM, and more. It can also let you make contactless payments.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra

Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra costs Rs 59,999. It has a 47mm size and is made up of Titanium and Sapphire Glass. It features a BioActive Sensor for enhanced tracking. It is powered by a 3nm Exynos W1000 chipset. It has 10 ATM water resistance supports and boots on One UI based on WearOS 5. It has a dual-frequency GPS system, i.e. L1 + L5.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 7

Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 starts at Rs 29,999. It comes in 40mm and 44mm sizes. It is made up of Armor Aluminium 2 and has Sapphire Glass. Like the Watch Ultra, it features a BioActive Sensor for enhanced tracking. A 3nm Exynos W1000 chipset powers it. It has 5 ATM water resistance supports and boots on One UI based on WearOS 5. It also has a dual-frequency GPS system like the Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro

Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 is priced at Rs 14,999, whereas, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro costs Rs 19,999. Both TWS earbuds now have an AirPods-like design. They support pinch gestures for controlling the volume. The Buds 3 Pro has 2-way speakers and dual amplifiers, whereas, the Buds 3 has a single driver. Both earbuds come support Galaxy AI features, which means you can use Samsung's translation tools and do things with voice commands.

Other than this, Samsung also teased its upcoming XR (eXtended Reality) project at the Unpacked. The project is in collaboration with Google and Qualcomm. However, nothing major has been revealed yet. But we can expect a Mixed Reality headset or something similar to Apple Vision Pro soon.
