Xiaomi has expanded its tablet lineup with the launch of the Redmi Pad 2 Pro. The tablet debuted alongside the Xiaomi Pad Mini and Xiaomi 15T series. It features a larger display, Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, and a massive 12,000mAh battery that promises all-day use. Redmi Pad 2 Pro Specifications, Features

The Redmi Pad 2 Pro sports a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a 2.5K resolution (2,560 x 1,600 pixels). It supports up to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling, making it ideal for gaming, streaming and work. The display goes up to 600 nits brightness in high brightness mode and brings extras like Dolby Vision, DC dimming, and a dedicated reading mode. Xiaomi has also introduced a Matte Glass edition, which reduces reflections by cutting light interference. Powering the tablet is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip paired with Adreno 810 GPU. It comes in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants, both with microSD support up to 2TB. On the software side, it runs Android 15 with HyperOS 2, which connects smoothly with other Xiaomi devices. The tablet comes with features like shared clipboard, direct phone control, call syncing, and instant hotspot switching.

For cameras, the Wi-Fi version has 8MP front and rear sensors, while the 5G model upgrades the rear to 13MP. Both support 1080p recording at 30fps.

The real highlight is its 12,000mAh battery, claimed to deliver up to 14 hours of video playback, 16 hours of reading and over 100 hours of music streaming. It supports 33W fast charging, and also offers 27W wired reverse charging, letting users power up other devices directly from the tablet.

The tablet features quad Dolby Atmos speakers, dual microphones, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and optional 5G eSIM support. It weighs 610g, measures 7.5mm thick, and comes in Graphite Grey, Silver, and Lavender Purple with a metal unibody design.

Pricing starts at €299.99 (approx. Rs 31,300) for the Wi-Fi 6GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 256GB model costs €349.99 (approx. Rs 36,500). The Matte Glass version and the 5G model with 6GB + 128GB configuration are both priced at €379.99 (approx. Rs 39,600). Xiaomi has also introduced a Redmi Pad 2 Pro Keyboard at €99.99 (approx.
