Xiaomi 15T Pro and 15T Launched Globally: Discover the Stunning Specs, Leica Cameras, and MediaTek Power

Xiaomi has officially unveiled its powerful smartphones, Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro during a global launch event in Munich. Both devices bring stunning displays, powerful MediaTek Dimensity processors, Leica triple camera, and high-capacity batteries. They are equipped with advanced features like fast charging, 5G connectivity, and Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 software.

Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro Price and Availability

The Xiaomi 15T Pro is priced at GBP 649 (approximately Rs. 77,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. However, the higher variant of 512GB is available at GBP 699 (Rs. 83,000) and 1TB at GBP 799 (Rs. 99,000). The smartphone is available in three color options, including Black, Grey, and Mocha Gold.

Meanwhile, the standard Xiaomi 15T starts at GBP 549 (around Rs. 65,000) for 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, with a 512GB variant priced the same. Its color options include Black, Gray, and Rose Gold.

Display and Processor

The Xiaomi 15T Pro features a 6.83-inch AMOLED LIPO display with 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 480Hz touch sampling. The display is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and offers a peak brightness of 3200 nits. Under the hood, the 15T Pro is powered by the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.

Talking about the standard Xiaomi 15T, it shares the same display design but offers a 120Hz refresh rate and runs on the Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset with up to 512GB storage.

Camera and Connectivity

For optics, both models carry Leica-tuned triple rear cameras. The 15T Pro includes a 50MP Light Fusion 900 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens with 5X optical zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera.

The vanilla 15T features a 50MP Light Fusion 800 sensor and similar secondary lenses. For selfies, both devices sport a 32MP front camera.

Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, GPS, and more, along with an in-display fingerprint sensor and AI-based face unlock.

Battery

Both smartphones pack a 5,500mAh battery. The 15T Pro supports 90W wired and 50W wireless charging, while the 15T offers 67W wired charging. Xiaomi’s 3D IceLoop System ensures efficient thermal management, and the devices carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Additionally, Xiaomi Astral Communications allows voice calls without cellular or Wi-Fi networks, further enhancing connectivity.
