Xiaomi 14 Civi with dual selfie cameras launched in India: Check price, specs, top features

Xiaomi 14 Civi India launch: Xiaomi hosted a special event in India today wherein it launched the Xiaomi 14 Civi. This new smartphone is a part of the company’s flagship Xiaomi 14 series, which includes the Xiaomi 14 that is priced at Rs 69,999 and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra that is priced at Rs 99,999. The new Xiaomi 14 Civi comes with top-of-the-line features, which includes Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 system-on-chip and the company HyperOS skin to name a few.

The newly launched Xiaomi 14 Civi comes in X variants in India. The 12+512GB variant costs Rs 47,999 while the 8+256GB variant costs Rs 42,999. Interested buyers will be able to pick from Cruise Blue dual-slice edition, Matcha Green Nano Tech Vegan Leather Edition and Shadow Black Classic Matte Editions. Interested buyers will be able to purchase the phone starting 12PM on June 20 via Flipkart, Mi Homes, retail partners and mi.com.

As a part of the launch offer, Xiaomi is offering 100GB of Google One storage for six months, six months of YouTube Premium at no additional cost and Xiaomi Priority Club membership. Additionally, it is offering a Rs 3,000 discount via ICICI Bank cards or an exchange bonus of Rs 3,000. This will reduce the price of the 12GB variant to Rs 44,999 and of the 8GB variant to Rs 39,999.

The Xiaomi 14 Civi will be up for pre-orders starting 2PM today on Flipkart, mi.com and Xiaomi Retail stores. Buyer who preorder the device until June 19 will get a Xiaomi Watch 3 Active for free.

Coming to the features, the Xiaomi 14 Civi comes with symmetric quad-curve body design and a 7.4mm thin metal chassis. It has a circular camera setup at the back that has Leica branding in between. Additionally, it has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

Talking about specifications, the Xiaomi 14 Civi sports a 6.55-inch AMOLED ultra immersive cinematic display with a 1.5K resolution, 1.4mm thin bezels, 3000 nits of peak brightness, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 93.19 percent screen-to-body ratio, over 68 billion colours, support for Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmost, support for hydro-touch technology and HDR10+ and stereo speakers.

The Xiaomi 14 Civi is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset that is coupled with the Xiaomi Pascal T1 signal enhancement chip, IceLoop cooling technology, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage space. It runs Xiaomi’s HyperOS and it is backed by a 4,700mAh battery that is coupled with a 67W Turbo Charge feature.

Now comes the cameras. The Xiaomi 14 Civi sports a triple rear camera setup. It has a Leica 50MP camera with Summilux l ens and 25mm cinematic HDR, a 50MP Leica portrait telephoto lens with 2X zoom and 50mm master portrait support, and a 12MP Leica ultra-wide-angle lens that offers 15mm 120-degree wide images. On the front, the phone has two lenses, which includes 32MP + 32MP dual camera setup. The front camera setup also offers support for AI Smart feature. The front camera offers support for a host of modes, which includes 4K Ultra HD, teleprompter, focus switching, short videos, dual video mode, real-time subtitles, Leica Pro Luts, pocket mirror and 2x zoom smooth recording.
