The step is initiated to branch out its premium categories and make a bold move in the competitive e-commerce landscape. With its newly launched 10-min smartphone delivery initiative, the food delivery giant aims to challenge major players like Amazon and Flipkart. Both companies offer lightning-fast delivery for smartphones and other electronic items.

The Swiggy Instamart 10-minute delivery of smartphone service has started in 10 cities across the country. The company will cover smartphones from brands like Samsung, Apple, OnePlus, Motorola, OPPO, Vivo, Realme, and Redmi. This strategy not only positions Swiggy as a direct competitor in the e-commerce sector but also highlights its efforts to expand beyond food delivery.

As soon as you go to the electronics section of the Swiggy Instamart, you will see range of smartphones including iPhone 16e, Samsung M35, and OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite. Apart from instant delivery of smartphones, the company is also offering instant discount of Rs 4,000 to all the buyers who are making a purchase of above Rs 11,499. The discount is available via ICICI bank credit cards.
