Samsung Galaxy Unpacked is taking place today with several products and line-ups coming to the forefront. The event will take place in San Jose, California and in India it will be happening in Bengaluru at 11:30PM IST. Ahead of the official event, the tech giant has confirmed to bring all Galaxy S series devices to run on the One UI 7 (Android 15).
Samsung I its Newsroom Post confirms that it will “install ‘One UI 7’ starting with the Galaxy S series to be released in the first quarter, and then sequentially apply it to existing Galaxy devices thereafter.”
The tech giant has been testing the software update for over a month and released an official timeline as to when its Galaxy S series devices will receive the update. The company in its press release announced that the ‘One UI 7 has been one of the most successful beta program of the company so far and hence the first update was rolled out much faster. Additionally, the main focus of the tech giant was key AI features at the time of testing and they are actively trying to improve based on the user feedback and suggestions.
The company highlights that the maximum number of users participated in the One UI 7.0 beta program as compared to the One UI 6.0 beta program and that’s the reason the tech giant could work on the improvements and enhancements.
The stable version of the ‘One UI 7 will be available to the eligible users who firstly buys the phone from the Galaxy S25 series. After that it will be made available to Galaxy S24 series users along with Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. However, other devices will receive the updates in stages.
