Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has launched a new Smart TV in India. The Redmi Smart Fire TV 32” 2024 Edition is an affordable Smart TV running on Amazon’s Fire TV OS. The latest model succeeds the one from last year. Some of the highlights of the latest Smart TV include an HD-ready screen with Vivid Picture Engine support, Alexa voice search support, and 20W Dolby Audio. Let’s see the price and all the features.

The Redmi Smart Fire TV 32” 2024 Edition is priced at 11,999. Buyers can get an additional discount of Rs 1,000 on ICICI Bank cards, taking the price down to Rs 10,999. The first sale of the TV is scheduled for June 11 on Amazon and Flipkart.

Redmi’s Smart Fire TV 2024 Edition comes with a 32-inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. It has a 60Hz refresh rate and Vivid Picture Engine support for vivid colours. The screen has narrow bezels having a screen-to-body ratio of 96.9 percent. It has a 6.4ms response time and an Auto Low Latency mode.

The Smart TV runs on Fire TV OS 7 enabling app support of over 12,000 apps, including Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, and others. It also comes with the YouTube app pre-installed. It has Apple AirPlay and Miracast support for seamless screen mirroring support for both iPhones and Android devices.

It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Cortex A35 processor paired with Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. It has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage for downloading videos, games, and other content. The Smart TV has 20W speakers with Dolby Auto and DTS Virtus X support.

It ships with a Smart Redmi Voice Remote with an Alexa button for voice search. The remote also has hotkeys for Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and others so you can directly jump to these apps. As for connectivity, it has dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and 2x HDMI 2.1 ports. It also has 2x USB 2.0 ports and an Ethernet port. As mentioned above, there’s also a wireless mirroring feature with AirPlay and Miracast.

The 32” Redmi Smart Fire TV 2024 Edition sits below the 43-inch 4K Smart Fire TV, which costs above Rs 20,000. Recently, Amazon also launched an updated Fire TV Stick 4K in the country priced at 5,999. It makes your dumb TV smart enabling access to OTT platforms and apps.
