Redmi Pad 2 Launch Teased: Xiaomi Reveals Official Launch Date and Exciting New Upgrades

Xiaomi is all set to unveil its Redmi Pad 2, the successor of the Redmi Pad, launched in 2022. The company is launching a Pad after quite some time. The company’s sub brand Redmi revealed the launch information of the Redmi Pad 2 via its social media platform. The tech giant revealed the date and started a teaser campaign ahead of the official launch.

Here’s What We Know So Far About Redmi Pad 2:

Redmi Pad 2 is an upcoming tablet from Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi. The table is expected to pack several powerful features and enhancements. We could also see some of the major changes as compared to the last time’s Pad. While the brand hasn’t shared any other official details, but we still have several leaks and rumors suggesting its specifications and features.

As per leaked information, the Redmi Pad 2 is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 SoC. For display, it could feature an 11-inch IPS LCD display along with 1600×2500 resolution, 600-nit peak brightness, and 90 Hz refresh rate.

The brand posted on X about the launch of the Redmi Tab 2, revealing its launch date set to be on the 5 June 2025. The tech giant gave a tagline in the poster that say’s ‘Built for More. The upcoming Redmi Pad 2 will be made available via company’s official website, e-commerce site including Amazon and Flipkart.

Redmi Pad 2 is also expected to come with a massive 9,000 mAh battery capacity with 18W charging and may arrive with 4G/5G network connectivity.

Redmi Pad 2 Expected Price:

As per listing in Europe, the Redmi Pad 2 might come with 5MP front camera, quad speakers, and 4GB RAM + 128GB & 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variants. The 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant could be priced at EUR 229 (roughly Rs 22,000), nevertheless, the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant  might come with EUR 279 (roughly Rs 26,000).

Additionally, there can be a 4G connectivity variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and expected to be available at EUR 299 (roughly Rs 29,000).
