Redmi 15 Launches in India with 7000mAh Battery and Snapdragon 6s Gen 3: Here’s What We Know

Redmi launched a new budget smartphone in India, dubbed Redmi 15, catering to users who are looking for a phone with power-packed features at a much affordable price. The Redmi 15 packs several interesting features like a massive 7000mAh battery capacity and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3. If you are someone who has been eyeing a new smartphone without breaking your bank, then you can go for the Redmi 15.

Redmi 15 Price in India:

Redmi 15 is priced at Rs 14,999 for its 6GB+128GB variant and Rs 16,999 for the 8GB+256 GB storage variant. The first sale starts on 21 August 2025 at 12 PM via the e-commerce site Amazon. The company is giving 1000 instant discount on HDFC and AXIS bank cards, along with a Rs 1000 off on exchange bonus.

Under the hood, the Redmi 15 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2. The smartphone runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. It is equipped with the Circle to Search feature.

The Redmi 15 comes with 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB with up to 16GB RAM with up to 8GB Virtual RAM.

To power the phone, the company has equipped Redmi 15 with a massive 7000mAh battery capacity with 18W reverse charging. As per the company, the smartphone could deliver 55.6 hours of Spotify, 23.5 hours of YouTube videos, 17.5 hours of Instagram Reels, and 12.75 hours of BGMI.

It comes in three color options, including Midnight Black, Frosted White, and Sandy Purple. It comes with IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and measures 168.48*80.45*8.40. For security, the company has given Side Fingerprint Sensor, IR Blaster, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor (Virtual), E Compass, and Accelerometer.
