Realme is gearing up to launch a new performance beast that promises an almost flagship-level experience. The company has officially teased the Neo 7 Turbo, with early hints showcasing a cool, semi-transparent back panel that could make the phone stand out in terms of design. This new Realme phone is officially launching on May 29, 2025, in China.
The Neo 7 Turbo is confirmed to feature the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9400e, built on TSMC’s advanced 4nm process. This isn’t just any chip as it packs flagship-level features. The chipset also includes the Immortalis-G720 MC12 GPU and is powered by the NPU 790 AI engine for some serious AI capabilities.
Realme is flexing with benchmark scores hitting 2.45 million points, making this phone one of the strongest contenders that could deliver high performance at a good price. One of the Neo 7 Turbo’s standout features is its semi-transparent rear panel. Early posters and teasers give us a sneak peek, and this definitely gives the phone a futuristic vibe.
Although Realme hasn’t revealed all the details yet, early reports give us a solid idea of what to expect. The Neo 7 Turbo will likely sport a 1.5K flat AMOLED display, a massive 7,000mAh battery with blazing 100W fast charging, and up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM paired with 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. On the camera front, it is rumoured to pack a 50 MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto camera. Most likely, we’ll see this device launch as a rebranded Realme GT 7 coming soon.
