Poco C85 5G Launched in India With 6,000mAh Battery, 50MP Rear Camera and 120Hz Display

Poco has launched its latest smartphone, the Poco C85 5G, in India as part of its C series lineup. The device will be available for purchase online via Flipkart and comes in three color options: Mystic Purple, Spring Green, and Power Black. The new phone is designed to offer a large display, long-lasting battery, and decent performance for budget-conscious users.

Price and Availability

The Poco C85 5G is priced in India starting at Rs 12,499 for the base 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 6GB + 128GB model costs Rs 13,499, while the top variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 14,499. As part of an introductory offer, the 4GB and 6GB variants are available at Rs11,999 and Rs 12,999 respectively. Sales will begin exclusively through Flipkart.

Display and Design

The smartphone features a 6.9-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) display with up to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and 810 nits peak brightness. It comes with TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification, Flicker-Free, and Circadian Friendly modes. The Poco C85 5G also carries an IP64 rating, offering dust and splash resistance. The phone measures 173.16×81.07×7.9mm and weighs 211 grams.

Performance and Software

Under the hood, the Poco C85 5G is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The device runs HyperOS 2.2 based on Android 15 and supports two Android upgrades and four years of security updates. RAM options go up to 8GB, and storage is 128GB with expandable support up to 1TB via a MicroSD card.

Camera and Battery

The Poco C85 5G sports a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a QVGA secondary camera. The front houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The phone packs a 6,000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging and 10W wired reverse charging.

Connectivity and Features

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and various sensors such as ambient light, proximity, E-compass, and accelerometer.
