One of the most striking discoveries in the teardown is the feature called ‘Listen Brief’ and hence this feature will allow users to hear a spoken summary of their day. This will include weather forecasts, calendar events, preferred news, and traffic updates. As per expectation, this feature will be powered by the Samsung’s Bixby voice engine or it can also tie in with the Google’s generative AI tools.
As per leaked One UI 8 code reveals that users might get the option to select between Samsung’s and Google’s text-to-speech systems at the time of using the Listen Brief feature. The code also hint towards a basic audio controls like play, pause, and stop which indicates that users will be able manage how and when they want to hear their daily summaries.
